Ignition 2010

Below are the Terms & Conditions as they relate to the challenge and your temporary employment with BizIgnition Ltd on the Ignition 2010 project.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following eligibility requirements must be met in order to proceed with the application process:

  1. You must be legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom and live in the United Kingdom. Proof of such eligibility must be provided to the Ignition 2010 Project management team, on request. Acceptable forms of proof include (without limitation):
    1. A valid UK passport
    2. Birth Certificate
    3. Work permit
    4. Student visa with allowance for working
    5. National Insurance Card
  2. You must be at least 18 years of age.
  3. You must be in excellent physical and mental health. All applicants who believe they meet our criteria, including persons with disabilities, are welcome and encouraged to apply to be a participant.
  4. You must not now be or within twelve months of the completion of the Ignition 2010 Project related to any members of the Ignition 2010 Project management team either directly or indirectly.
  5. If selected, you will have to attend an interview and training process which will take up the better part of a full working day.
  6. You must be willing to travel at your own expense to be interviewed in January 2010. Although we would aim to do all interviews and training sessions in or as close to your college as is possible.
  7. Any offer to become a participant is conditioned upon your agreeing to and meeting all pre requisite requirements of the programme.
  8. You must be willing to work in groups as well as independently as required by the Board of Directors of BizIgnition Ltd.
  9. Neither you nor any of your immediate family members or anyone living in your household may be or have been within the past two (2) years employees, officers, directors or agents of any of the following:
    1. BizIgnition Ltd
    2. BizReg Ltd
    3. IFM Support Services Ltd
    4. USS Ltd
    5. Wish Communications PLC
    6. Phoenix Solutions Ltd
    7. MyCom Solutions Ltd
    8. Spitfire Logistics Ltd
    9. Hi Tek Comms Ltd
    10. Smart Systems Ltd
  10. You will be challenged to complete in ten stages that are spread over a 100 days (Working days that is equal to 20 weeks).
  11. At each stage there is the possibility of your being fired, (dismissed from the Ignition 2010 project). The criteria for this will be dependent on the challenge and the condition of work, ie if you worked alone or you were a part of a group.
  12. You will be required to read, understand and sign a confidentiality agreement prior to any offer of a role within BizIgnition Ltd.
  13. You must supply a copy of your present CV, which may also include details of any voluntary works done during or prior to college times.
